For years now, I have admired the drawings that my friend Celina would “doodle” on her paper during meetings. As I was thinking about what sort of feel I wanted this website to have, I remembered Celina’s doodles. A website is by definition an embodiment of technology. It feels impersonal, hard, and empty by its very nature. But, I wanted this site to convey the heart and hopes of the people behind it. Somehow, I wanted the site to feel homemade, imperfect, simple, and human. I wanted it to make you think about light and creation in a way that feels close-to-home and unpretentious.
